Do you facilitate your own printing?
No. This method had been tried out, however we now use a professional photographers lab who can offer superb quality prints. The lab supply many photographers throughout the UK and to date we haven't found anyone else able to compete with the quality and finish.

When is the latest I can place an order for Christmas?
As we use a lab to print our images they do have strict deadlines for orders in the run up to Christmas to avoid any disappointment I would advise any prints to be ordered before 31st October. With album orders we would require these orders in by 31st September. I can of course still take orders after these dates but won't be able to promise a delivery time before Christmas.

What happens if its raining?
In Northern Ireland, unfortunately we are more like to get rainy days than dry days and as professionals we have learnt to adapt to the weather and make it an advantage. The rain often allows a great opportunity for some fun, and great photos. We will provide the bride and groom with an umbrella for some really creative shots. However we appreciate that not everyone wants to venture into the rain and so researching your chosen venue before your day will allow us to find a suitable location indoors to conduct any group photos.

What happens if you are ill on the morning of my wedding?
To date this has never happend. I have turned up to every single wedding, portrait and commercial shoot booked with us, and I hope to maintain this record for many years to come. However should the unfortunate ever happen I am a member of SWPP which means I have a number of contacts throughout Northern Ireland and the UK of professional photographers who will offer the same standard as us.

What do I need to do to secure my date?
Simply call the office on 02892668536 or email me at idealphotography@live.co.uk to show your intention of booking. From there we can either arrange to meet in person to fill in your booking form, or I can email these for you to print and send back. No date is secured without the filled booking form along with a 25% deposit. Payment plans can be arranged for the remaining amount, just ask us about this at the time of booking.

I was at a wedding a few weeks ago and would like to look at the photos, can I?
Each bride and groom will receive their own password secured online album, for you to view these or place an order you must obtain the password from the bride and groom.

How long before my photos are ready to view online?
We always aim to have your photos ready by the time your back from your honeymoon, but during a busy period this can sometimes take up to 3 weeks. We will always contact you with your password as soon as your album is online for viewing.

My package included X album, can I change this?
We hold no restrictions on your package and you are free to choose whichever album you like, should you wish to change you might find a change in price, in that case we will send you through another quote to include the amended album before changing the package for you.

Are there any hidden costs?
There is no catch and no hidden extras with us. Should we find that we are travelling over an hour from Lisburn in any direction we may ask for a fuel supplement, and were overnight stay is required this will all be discussed and included in your quote at the beginning. Unless you make changes which will effect your quote then the quote you get is the price you pay.

I've noticed an increase in album prices, will this effect me?
From time to time our suppliers may increase the price of our album range, however we have a company policy to stand by our original quoted price where the couple have selected their album within 3 months of your online viewing being available. Should you take longer than the invited 3 month period then you may be charged the amended price.

Do you have any terms and conditions for me as a guest at a wedding purchasing reprints?
Yes, we have a detailed list of T&Cs reguarding printing time, delivery, refunds, promotions and discount codes. Should you like to take a look please just send us an email through our contact page ensuring you leave your email address and I will be happy to email you a copy of this.
